Signature Banner
The signature banner that hangs on the west wall of the narthex was the first project completed in preparation for the 60th anniversary celebration of our church. Over 50 names were written on white blocks of fabric where were set together with calico and a special title insert. If you or your family has names there, can you find them?
The typed index was lost so often that we printed it on fabric and appliquéd it to the back of the banner along with its history. The guide is a simple alphanumeric system: A to H for the row (top to bottom) and 1 to 7 (left to right) in the row for the block. Now can locate the name.
This banner was carried at the head of the procession that Sunday of October 24, 1999, leading visitors pastors, and choir to a special time of celebration and fellowship.
