Events on the horizon for FUMC

HEART-HEALTHY A.S.P. SMORGASBORD will be served Feb. 12, beginning at 11:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall.  You are invited to share in an abundance of good food (“you price it, you eat it”) and experience some tasty dishes that are good for your heart health.

BLOOD PRESSURE CLINICS will be offered after each Service on February 12: following the 8 and 9:15 Services, come to the new Gathering Space, and following the 10:30 Service, we will be in Fellowship Hall.  All are welcome to come and get their blood pressure checked.

UMW VALENTINE BAKE SALE: Find your favorite valentine a sweet treat on February 12 at 11:30AM in Fellowship Hall for the red, white cookies, cakes and sweets bake sale.  The UMW will help you find the best that day!

NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION SESSION: Pastor Barrie will be leading a new member class on Sunday morning, February 12 at 9:15 am, in our conference room located on the first floor by the main office.  This session will assist folks with a deeper understanding about the United Methodist Church, our membership vows, and ways to become more engaged in the ministries of our congregation. If you would like to participate in this class or a future class please contact the church office and let us know.

THE YOUNG ADULT GROUP is starting a new bible study on the book of Isaiah led by Eddie Crise! Please join us on Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm at Keegan Koehlinger's apartment (1015 Oak Crest St., Iowa City). Contact Becca Wright with any questions (bec.wri@gmail.com).
