Confirmation will take place once a month from September to May. Classes run on a “retreat” style with each session lasts approximately five hours. All classes are held in the Youth Room unless otherwise noted.

Youth entering the eighth (8th) grade are welcome to participate in Confirmation.

Confirming your faith, on your own, is an important step in a life of discipleship. Here at Iowa City First, we encourage all those in eighth (8th) grade to participate in Confirmation.

Confirmation is a year-long commitment during which you will be required to attend class, special events, trips, as well as fulfill a few other requirements. It’s not as daunting as it sounds -- it’s actually a lot of fun!
